Funny, when I hear Cheney “creating secret programs and not disclosing their existance to Congress or the Intelligence Committe” my first thought is “wait, Cheney actually DID SOMETHING?” For some reason it seemed like he spent 8 years in a bunker, except for that one fateful hunting trip.

I can’t say I’m too surprised at this myself. We’ve developed a society where everyone feelings they are obligating things instead of earning things.

So when you assume people feel they are owed everything, its not too surprising that when posed in a situation where someone gets more than them they would choose the option that leans them both lacking. ITs not logical, and its certainly not smart. But when has that ever stopped humanity for charging forward, eyes closed and head extended first, without checking to see if they were running directly at a brick wall.

Not that this encompasses all of humanity. Just most of it. There is still the small niche within society as a whole where people react to given situations totally differently. Too bad its a niche and not a norm.
